To sew the Butterfly flutter sleeves, choose fabrics with the following properties:
- Light or medium-weight;
- The fabric content can include natural (cotton, linen, wool), artificial (viscose), blends (linen + cotton, cotton + viscose, wool+cotton, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester);
- The following fabrics are recommended: linen, cotton, man-made silk, polyester.
The sample is made from cotton. This fabric is medium-weight, structured.

Before starting the project choose your size by taking measurements.
BUST - Place the tape around the fullest part of the bust. Wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement. Make sure the tape is placed horizontally across the back and under the arms.
WAIST– Place a tape around the natural waistline. Measure the circumference of your waist, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage.
HIPS - Measure the fullest part of the hips from behind. Make sure that the tape is placed horizontally around the body and does not drop down on one side.
